About this design
These are just 2 from a pack of illustrated cards.Initially I wanted cards from the 1970's, because that was when I grew up and I remember getting hold of a well thumbed pack. Unfortunately, when I searched for a pack on ebay, I discovered that 'mucky' cards from the 70's were a lot more explicit than I remember. I reckon I had got hold of an older pack like this one from the 50's.
I have chosen to Illustrate the game of Black Jack , or pontoon as it was called when my nan taught me to play.
