About this design
Designed to pull the french peasantry off the horse and cart and into the 20th century, the CV was a massive success. Mechanical simplicity, reliability and design it's iconic status makes it both the butt of jokes and subject of deep admiration. Ultimately, however, it fell victim to a publics growing need for speed. Personally, reliability and a touch of French styling is so much more important that high speed travel.
