About this design
The nation`s favoured takeaway dish since the late Victorian era! Providing filling and nutritious sustenance to those who had to endure long working days. Even in wartime, although supplies might be scarce, fish and chips were never subject to the ration. Both Lancashire and London stake a claim to the origin of our most famous meal. Chips were the staple fare of the industrial north whilst fried fish was introduced in London's East end , so I guess it`s a close call. Here is my t-shirt in admiration of the fuel of the nation.
