About this design
This design admires the 1961 French film "Last Year in Marienbad." A strange film that tells the story of a married couple at a gathering, where another man approaches the woman and talks about how he had met the woman one year before at Marienbad. The woman claims not to have ever met the man before, but flashbacks and repeated conversations at different locations in the chateaux prompts the audience to question the ladies honesty.
It has recieved both acclaim and negative responses, with the film being nominated for the 1963 Academy Award for Writing Original Screenplay and it actually won the Golden Lion at the 1961 Venice Film Festival, however, it also received an entry in 50 Worst Films of All Time by Harry & Michael Medved, Randy Dreyfuss stating that the film's surrealistic style is pretentious and/or incomprehensible.
A very creative film that makes you think, and I believe is worth admiring!
