Peter Hutton Leyton House F1 t shirt
The simulations we use to display this shirt do not do Peter Hutton's art justice.
Leyton House, a Japanese property developer, were the key sponsor of the team, having taken over the March team. F1 is a global sport with global sized price tickets. Property development is not global it is local. Leyton House would never get a global commercial benefit from their involvement. It was never going to last.
The team put Ivan Capelli on the podium in second place for the French Grand Prix. At one stage the cars had been running first and second, Alain Prost, driving a Ferrari, was the eventual winner. Probably the key first for the team was the firing of Adrian Newey. Certainly ever since his work for Leyton House/March F1 teams have been having a punch up over Newey's employment and he has won World Championships, Constructors and Drivers, with Williams, McLaren and Red Bull. Newey is the only man to have won these Championships with three teams.
Demonstrate your appreciation for the arcane and classy in F1, wear our Peter Hutton Leyton House F1 t shirt.
