About this design
The famous Yak Aircraft Corporation previously known as the A.S. Yakovlev Design Bureau JSC, are the designers and makers of both military & commercial aircraft. The height of the Yak success was during WW2 when many fighter and bomber variants were entered into service for the USSR.
The Yak Aircraft Corporation didnt stop there though, and since WW2, they have designed & produced more than 50 different aircraft including trainers, fighters, bombers, commercial passanger aircraft, AWAC's, aerobatic aircraft, helicopters, experimental aircraft & unmanned reconnaissance aircraft.
This design admires the famous Yak-52, first flown in 1976 - it is a favourite trainer for many air forces. Like most Soviet military aircraft, the Yak-52 was designed to operate in rugged environments with minimal maintenance.
It is a relatively easy aircraft to fly and land and also has a formidable reputation on the aerobatic scene, where it has been used in may aerobatic competitions and can withstand up to 7G's(+) and -5G which allows the 52 to perform a huge number of aerobatic maneuvers.
