Hamlet’s words to Horatio in an epic play written by William Shakespeare. His writings have lasted the test of time in the western world as they are embedded with spiritual wisdom. Their appeal and relevance are there for those that seek better understanding of man’s lot and condition.
Many dismiss the Zodiac signs as waffle but there is one curious reality to them. They have been handed down to us from our historical forefathers from many parts of the globe. Today the most commonly used are the Chinese, Vedic, and the Zodiac that has its origins from Babylonia and then it was incorporated by the Hellenistic civilization, now it is the mainstream in the western world. There are differences and similarities between the main schools of astrology. They all have twelve houses, and they all use the reference of the ascendant rising sign due to the rotation of the earth on the eastern horizon.
The energies of the stars in sidereal space influence one’s particular characteristics of any specific house at any given time and this is what makes the study of them curious to some. Many just glance and others delve into the signs to acquire a personal and greater understanding of the self. We also have the joker card called “Free Will”.
