One of the finest moments in televised cycling must be Bradley Wiggins leading out Mark Cavendish for his fourth consecutive victory on the Champs Elysées. No one had ever won four of these classic and very prestigious sprints before and the pack seemed determined to deny Cavendish his moment. What they did not bargain for was the power of Wiggins or that said power would be applied to such effect. Marvellous. Thank you Mark Cavendish and thank you Bradley Wiggins.
